Promoting the Sustained Construction of the China-Vietnam Community with a Shared Future from a Multidimensional Perspective

Abstract

Amid the accelerated evolution of a world undergoing changes unseen in a century, undercurrents are surging beneath the seemingly tranquil global landscape. Each country is reflecting on its "unique ecological niche" on the global stage. An analytical framework covering the domains of "high politics" and "low politics" can better illuminate the history, current state and future prospects of friendly exchanges between China and Vietnam. Historically, the two countries share a distinctive revolutionary bond. Politically and economically, China’s creatively initiated Belt and Road Initiative aligns deeply with the "Two Corridors, One Belt" framework jointly promoted by China and Vietnam. In cultural and security fields, the two countries have forged ahead in tandem to build a cooperative network. At present, the shared goals and strategic aspirations of China and Vietnam are gradually converging into new growth drivers, which carries prominent practical and realistic significance for advancing the building of the China-Vietnam community with a shared future.
